Well, I had written a blog entry for this week but I am going to save it. Given how many of us in the U.S. feel about what is happening in our own sociopolitical system, I believe that it is more important than ever before for us to take the time to step out of our own “small” world, despite how big (and loud) it may feels to us at this time in our history, and recognize how global living conditions have changed, and changed for the better, over the last 200 years. To this end, I offer up a link to an article that was just circulated in the Peace Corps Rwanda community.
Please note that the sixth chart, which illustrates the changes over time for a hypothetical group of 100 people, is particularly inspiring.
